MINISTRIES

The executive committee shall establish ministerial departments to work in different areas for the spiritual, social, and economic development of ECH. The members of these departments shall be chosen from the local churches by the executive committee in consultation with the district. They are:

Traditional Library
Department of Education and Vocational Training

The Berean Evangelical Theological Seminary (BETS), formerly the Berean Evangelical and Vocation Institute, is the largest theological and biblical center of the ECH available to prospective ministers of God desiring advanced biblical and theological training. This seminary will be governed by a Board of Trustees that will be accountable to the Executive Committee and the Board of the ECH as well as its parent ministry.

The Evangelism and Prayer Department

The Evangelism and Prayer Department shall develop an evangelism program in the church and outside the church to encourage Christians to apply the Great Commission of Matt. 28:19-20. It is also responsible for keeping Christians spiritually alert.

The Department of Health

The Department of Health is responsible for medical clinics, hospitals and health centers. This department will have the task of supervising the operation of the health centers and the various hospitals of ECH. It will liaise between the Ministry of Public Health and the ECH, and other organizations working for the promotion of health. He will also make recommendations to the executive committee. In addition, he will promote physical and mental health, organize prevention, motivation and awareness campaigns in case of epidemics at the local church level.

Foreign Missionaries

The ECH is ready to welcome missionaries from abroad who wish to evangelize in Haiti. To be admitted as a missionary in the ECH, the person concerned must :

  1. Submit your curriculum vitae with authentic documents.

  2. Have your membership card from the last church you attended

  3. Agree to abide by the internal principles of the HTA

  4. Be the holder of a certificate of approval which will be issued by the Executive Committee in accordance with the regulations

  5. Be subject to a contract signed by the relevant authorities

  6. Agree to discuss and adjust their work plan with the executive committee. No missionary should work in the shadows.
